Northholland Dune Reserve

From the campsite you can walk straight into the North Holland Dune Reserve, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. It stretches from the coast at Wijk aan Zee to the Dunes of Schoorl. The nature is beautiful every season and varies from forest and dunes to beach and sea. Along the way you will definitely encounter local wildlife!

You need a dune card to visit the reserve, but if you are staying at Bakkum, we will send you one upon arrival!

There often are excursions being held, guided by a forester or ranger. Keep an eye on their website.
