This central square is thé place to come together and enjoy lovely food, it's were the kids play after a day at the beach. You'll find several restaurants here, as well as a supermarket, petting zoo and camping shop. Centered on the square the water drops fly through the air and children are busy playing with sand, water, branches and shells. Our own restaurant, Bakkum Bites, is the center of this relaxed camping life.

During the season, there's some great live music at our terrace every week! Order a few drinks and savor the snack menu or come by for a great lunch with the family. Want to visit but you're not a camping guest? No problem, more than welcome!

Rent a bike? Fill your gas bottles? Camping shop Zeldenrust
This is very convenient! At the meeting square you'll find camping shop Zeldenrust where you're able to get everything you need for camping out; gas and power supplies, trolleys, go karts, the bike rental with a service for flat tires. Empty gas bottles can be refilled here and they offer a lost and found section.

Italian dishes, lovely wines, cocktails and beers Restaurant 'Op de Hoek'
On the corner of the Ontmoetingsplein you will find restaurant 'Op de Hoek'. Enjoy Italian pizza, pasta and tiramisu, complemented by a good wine. For breakfast, lunch, dinner or a drink you have come to the right place. The spacious terrace offers a nice spot in the sun or shade. Benvenuto!
Ice cream at 'De IJswinkel'
It's always time for ice cream! At least for the ice cream from 'De IJswinkel'. The soft ice cream is homemade and is also very popular in Bakkum. Did you know that there are many more flavors of soft ice cream besides vanilla?
Black cherry, butterscotch, apple or would you rather have pistachio? Make the party complete with whipped cream and a delicious dip. There is also a wide selection of popsicles. And in the summer, an ice cream cart regularly drives around the campsite grounds.
Chicken from 't Kippaleis
As soon as you smell the aroma of freshly roasted chicken, you can't help but try it. At 't Kippaleis, their delicious chicken is known as an absolute must.
In the afternoon, you might see the chickens turning on the spit. In addition to the classic chicken dishes, 't Kippaleis offers many more tasty options.
