Proud member of the Kennemer Duincampings
The Kennemer Duincampings is the umbrella organization of three beautiful family campsites in the North Holland Dune Reserve and National Park Zuid Kennemerland. Also discover Camping Geversduin in the dunes and Camping de Lakens near the beach.
In addition, KDC also manages Watertoren Duin & Bosch, a luxury suite in a restored water tower.
The Meeting Square is the place to come together, have a nice meal and play after a day at the beach. Here you will find various restaurants, a supermarket, petting zoo and the camping shop. In the middle of the square, the water drops fly through the air and the kids play with sand, water, branches and shells. Our own restaurant, Bakkum Bites, is the center of this relaxed camping life.
Which beach is your favourite? Camping near the coast
Bake sand tarts, participate in a beach volleyball tournament or enjoy summer mocktails at one of the beach clubs. Castricum beach is close to the campsite. You can easily park there, but a walk or bike ride through the beautiful dunes will also take you to a nice and quiet beach.

In the middle of the campsite you will find our Sports Field, or rather, a mega sports field! Here we have everything you could wish for: a padel court, pump track, tennis court, football fields, a pétanque court and a volleyball court. So you can be very active at Bakkum!
The campsite slopes gently into the surrounding dune area and adjacent towns.
Northholland Dune Reserve
From Camping Bakkum you can walk straight into the North Holland Dune Reserve, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. It stretches from the coast at Wijk aan Zee to the Dunes of Schoorl. You need a dune card to visit the reserve, but if you stay at Bakkum, we will give you one!
